Fukkurinko is a quality rice developed in southern Hokkaido. As its name suggests, it is popular for its fluffy texture. To ensure its tastiness and quality, its production areas are limited to part of Sorachi and southern Hokkaido—the areas best suited for the cultivar’s cultivation.
